Cette charte, en tant que « cadre », n’est donc pas finalisée; elle a vocation à ouvrir le débat sur les sujets de la gestion des risques sociaux, communautaires et des organisations.
Cette charte propose également des questions clefs pour ouvrir un débat international.

De commissie corporate governance heeft deze corporate governance code opgesteld op verzoek van Euronext Amsterdam, het Nederlands Centrum van Directeuren en Commissarissen, de Stichting Corporate Governance Onderzoek voor Pensioenfondsen, de Vereniging van Effectenbezitters, de Vereniging Effecten Uitgevende Ondernemingen en de Vereniging VNO- NCW en op uitnodiging van de Ministers van Financiën en Economische Zaken.
De code vervangt het rapport “Corporate Governance in Nederland; De Veertig Aanbevelingen” uit 1997 van de commissie Peters. De code is van toepassing op alle vennootschappen met statutaire zetel in Nederland en waarvan aandelen of certificaten van aandelen zijn toegelaten tot de officiële notering van een van overheidswege erkende effectenbeurs (hierna: beursgenoteerde vennootschappen).

Tilburg University and PRIMO Europe offer a concise program on strategic management. In line with the findings of national and international reports, senior managers in the public sector are facing a combination of transitions. These transitions are taking place simultaneously and call for careful consideration. This involves rethinking strategy, innovating in value creation, and restructuring the management of systems.
The Tilburg Institute of Governance (TIG), the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM), both part of Tilburg University and Public Risk Management Organization (PRIMO) Europe, the only independent international network for the development and dissemination of products and services related to the steering of values and risks within the public sector in Europe, are entering into a strategic alliance in an international context, thus including the Netherlands.
